I got 835 with pure gold 670 choke looking for shells to give good patteren and dont want to pay the prices of hevi's and the whinchester extended range are about the same price . Are there any other good shells. How are the remington nitros or the whinchester supremes. or will they not cut it. looking for good pattern out to 40 yards.

A man fires a rifle for many years, and he goes to war. And afterward he turns the rifle in at the armory, and he believes he's finished with the rifle. But no matter what else he might do with his hands, love a woman, build a house, change his son's diaper; his hands remember the rifle.

Winchester Supreme 3.5" HV 2oz #6's should be great from that set up.  I run the StarDot choke and get 130-150 in the 10" @ 40yds with them.

Clean and polish that barrel first.

I like the Federal flight control wad shells. Many others seem not to,but they have worked for me.
Jakes are like scotch. They are not worth a darn until they age.

Correct me if I'm wrong but I believe I read somewhere that you aren't suppose to use the wad stripping chokes with the Federal Flite Control wads.  The PG is a wad stripping choke.

correct they make a seperate choke for the federal flight controls.
