I just put a Shur Shot Stock on my 870 lucky for me the gun was already dipped in obsession from the factory. It matched up great and was a very easy install for me, looks like I bought the gun that way which was my goal in the first place. If you want to have something dipped i would probably recommend camo solutions but there is a catch that they do not dip in Realtree Hardwoods. I am not sure who does, I am sure that someone does I just dont know who. The reason I know all of this is because I just bought a Mossberg in Hardwoods HD and have been trying to fit a tactical stock to the gun. I went with a Blackhawk Knoxx in their camo pattern, very similar to hardwoods, with a camo cheek piece. If it bothers me enough I can have the gun redipped in anything I want for an additional fee. I am sure there are easier ways but I have not figured it out.
