Looking at getting a full time turkey killer in 20 guage for the wife. She held the Benelli Nova and will goto the local Walmart to grope the Remington. Does anyone have any insight on choke combinations, and pros and cons as well. Also would rather a pre-tapped one for optics (this could be a deciding factor). Thanks

Don't really want to fool with a gunsmith due to time restraint.

If she is a beginner I would go with a pump action. I own the Benelli 20 ga. Nova 24" barrel in full camo. I added Tru-Glo FO sights, a camo sling and a Primos Tightwad Choke. It is a fine turkey combo. IMO I would not start a beginner on any semi-auto.
Deer see you and think you are a stump. The Old Gobbler sees a stump and thinks it is YOU!

Both are good guns.  We see better numbers out of the Nova.  Shot one with HV-13 7's other day. It had rained but we shot it anyways.  It was 156 in the 10 at 40.  Gun was new and choke was new.  Only 4 shots out of them both.
Tell us just how dead do you want them to be and we will see if we can get that for you.

Why not throw a 870 in the mix if you are looking at pump guns?
Lots of chokes and add ons for thr remington.

If the 11-87 is close to the same price I would buy the 11-87 because it is a semi-auto.  Both guns will give the numbers to kill birds and one you don't have to pump.

preferrably want a fully camo 20 gauge. last year on opening day had two long beards spook, one off the roost and one at about 1030. did not figure it out til later that the very pretty Franchi I bought for years ago shined like brighter than the sun. She is leaning more to the Benelli.

I had to have my Benelli drilled and tapped.

as long as the gun has a matte finish you should be fine. but of the 2 I would peobably go with the auto.
