Being a long time 20 years + employee of UPS and covering large retail locations , I can report to you that especially in the last 10 years there is a very steady decline in retail storefront sales and a sharp increase in cyber shopping sales - With the price in gas and the time it takes to run around town finding what you want - Most people are simply going online and skipping out on , gas , time, tax , saving money , an in some cases not even having to pay the shipping !!!
