Well I got plenty of places to hunt this year.  All in thick brush.  So im thinking of using my bps10 and buckshot.  But federal is sold out online like at every store .there is a places called nwcp or something like that loads a 16 pellet 00b load rolled crimped 19$ for a box of 5 or 6.But Hive shot makes dead coyote In 10 ga in 00bYeah 15 pellets at 1300 fps. At 25$the a box and my favorite online store has them instock.  Thinking of going with the dead coyote 00b with my 1010 ga and pattern the briley lm and trulock. 680 and I plan on buying a rhino. .7000 over the next few weeks. Most shot will be under 20-30 yards .

I wouldn't want DC Hevi 00 for only shooting 20-30 yds as the patterns would be small.  They'd give great penetration and good long range patterns, but for your range, I'd go lead.

We pattern our lead buckshot loads at 50yds, some make it out near 70 in the proper set-up.  20-30 would be a chip shot with even #4 from a cyl bore.  I shot a doe with 000 at 20 once from a flush mod and it was pretty graphic.  All pellets connected and exited.

The best factory patterning buckshot loads we've come across are the Federal Premium buffered copper plated lead #1s. Mod or Impmod usually does the trick.
