Bois De' Rose with Black Delrin Mouthpiece. Lanyard and Brass Ferule. This exotic wood from Madagascar has been prized for a long time, "It is one of the rarest and most beautiful types of true rosewood.  Our supplies are limited. Current conditions in Madagascar mean that this wood will become unavailable, as all exports have apparently stopped permanently for those of us that only buy legal wood." This is a quote from Griffin Exotic Woods.
I use this wood only on my very best trumpets.

totally agree about the above and beyond statement... I am very excited to play.. rest assured that it will get used and take part in countless dead turkeys and more yells from my wife "quite playing that damn thing you will wake the baby". thats when you know its good.

I would agree that is a more than adequate replacement for sure.

I am intending on making another acrylic and or fix the one that broke, but as any call maker should stand behind their product, I believe that making the customer happy is #1. I contacted the customer and explained what happened and offered their monies in a complete refund or make another call and a partial refund, until I could get around to make another acrylic call. The acrylic call takes a lot more time and effort on my part and I am in the middle of many medical issues, so thankfully the customer agreed to the latter offer.
