Out of the game for at least 2 days

Bad news guys. My season of misery has once again reared it's ugly head. My wife tripped over a visiting grandson this morning and took a bad fall. I ended up having to load her up in the truck and take her to the hospital. X-rays didn't reveal any breaks, but that was the ER doc's interpretation. The radiologist is going to review the X-rays and get back to us. In the meantime I'm out of the game until she can get around.
Of course as I was helping her to the truck 3 different gobblers were hammering not that far off. Rub it in boys, rub it in.

Day 3, with sloooooow improvement. Not enough improvement to leave her by herself though. This morning was beautiful, I would have loved to have been in the woods.

The MRI revealed a bone chip but not a fracture. She's still in a lot of pain but she's sloooooowly getting better. Better enough for me to get hunting again.
Bad weather tomorrow, again , but after that it's going to cool off and not rain for 4 days. I'm going to hit it hard and try to close out the season by tagging out on an upgrade. 🤞🏼 The last day of the season the weather guessers are calling for rain again.
