I've hunted with him for Gould's in Chihuahua and Ocellated in Campeche.  There is NONE better !!!!  His operation gets 6 stars outta 5.  Everyone I have referred to him has come back in TOTAL and HIGH praise of his operation.

I was looking at that website earlier this week and couldn't find any information on pricing. I figured if I have to ask I can't afford it.

If it's not too nosy, could you give a ballpark idea on the cost of a trip down there?

Just talked to my cuz.  He hunted with El Halcòn just about 2 weeks ago.

$2850 for a 1 bird hunt
$4100 for a 2 bird hunt

Only problem is with a huge bucket list of experiences to get, and a frugal wife it may not be in the cards

Wingshooters Lodge. You will not be hunting over or near feeders. You will have a gun in your hands every hunt. No one will be using electronic calls.The hunting will be 1x1.

I've heard excellent things about El Halcon as well.

Ask lots of questions about how the hunt will be conducted. If all you care about is killing a Goulds, go for it, but if you want to do a classic turkey hunt with likewise high success, ask if feeders are being used. Ask if you will be hunting 1x1. Ask if electronic calls are used. Ask if you will have a gun on every hunt and not passing a gun to a buddy to try a double whch is totally unsafe.

I am booked for the April 28, 2026 hunt with Manuel. I booked it back mid March and some time frames were already filled. But Patty was extremely busy and they will book up completely. They did go up to $3000. For 2026, half down now.
