Kamski1151 and I are considering buying one for the Sportsman 500. We spend close to 400 bucks every year to have our plots tilled and figured by the second year we would be money ahead.

I came close but never committed. ended up making one. let me know how it does. seems to have good reviews. I wondered if there was a difference when run behind a solid axle or independent.

I have a pull behind disk and while it works great, be careful of over heating your scooter. It puts a lot of strain on the motor if you cut too deep or run it too long.

I have a friend that got one this year and he loves it.  He filmed some of it being worked up and seemed to work well.  It looks like it would be perfect for small plots.

I have a small disc I pull behind my quad. It's pretty light so I need to add weight to it. It works good but you can get your quad hot if your not careful. The one you posted I also looked at but went with a different one. Good luck,

you can buy a ford 9N most anywhere for around $1000.00 with a disc, don't tear up your four wheeler. plus a few tractor side jobs and its paid for.

Seems to me the edge of the disc to the axle is about 2"?
Doesn't look like it would cut deep enough to me.

But, I'm used to using something like this, or larger.

God Bless,

You wont find an 8 or a 9 n here for a grand. I have an 8 that I tore the hydraulics out of.Need to get busy fixin it. A good disc will run at least 500 bucks in this area.
