My first thought is whether or not it is actual Knight and Hale, or somebody else that has bought the company and name rights from them? 

My second thought is "how can new turkey calls improve upon what is already available on the market today?"  There is only so much realism that can be obtained in turkey calling...and we reached that point a-ways back in time.  If a guy is not killing turkeys with the calls that are on the market right now, they should probably be looking at other factors in their hunting rather than spending money on another call or two.

Of course, if somebody wants the newest, greatest, new-fangled turkey call and wants to fork over the cash for it, go for it.  I'm sure Knight and Hale (or whoever runs the outfit now) will be tickled to take your money. Heaven knows, I have spent way too much of mine on turkey calls over the years...but I finally figured out that I don't need no new ones. I've dun run out of space to put them.

I talked to Mr Harold and indeed he and Mr David are involved in the reboot! Pradco bought the brand years ago, but it is great to see it back, and even better that the living legends Knight & Hale are involved.

This was my concern.  I knew the rights had been sold and both David and Harold are getting up in age so my concern was 1. Will they be involved?  2. How much influence will they have in this venture?  Many companies get involved in these transactions and want to cut corners for PROFIT and end up ruining QUALITY products that are TIME TESTED!  As a side bar, David sold his 715 acres in Cadiz, Kentucky a couple years back and it is back on the market again for a COOL $4.875 mil. if anyone is interested.

I sold my original "Ole Yeller" to a member here several years ago. Afterwards wished I would have kept it.  Last summer found another at a consignment store really cheap.  Snatched it up without hesitation.  It looked new!  That one won't be going anywhere except into my vest this spring.  They made good calls.  Hope the new ones are as good.
