Unfortunately,  95 percent of the people selling Osceola hunts are pure Bull S----

The only other outfit I truly recommend was Fisheating Creek (closed) by Lovett Williams and David Austin ...if you read Lovetts books he has maps and I whole heartedly agree Orlando and SOUTH ...not north

Look at thier advertising,  look at the map ....

Oh , the "guides " will tell you different,  and the guides come in all flavors from guys in a airboats doing shady high water mark hunts , to total clowns guiding you on WMA's ..people with horrible success ratios too .

When you throw 2k into the ring ..everyone is a expert guide ,

It's all about the money.  You have hit the nail on the head.
The further north you go the better chance you shot a very expensive hybrid ..
Ignore anyone "guiding" with a guest permit. Biggest scam to date.  What a circus.

I'm not saying the guys shouldn't be prosecuted to the full extent of the law, but this isn't much different than people who sell "canned" deer hunts.
Basically what happened here is the customers wanted to be able to say they killed an Osceola so bad they were willing to "buy one", and they got sold a counterfeit. Play stupid games and win stupid prizes.
I say shame on EVERYONE involved.
