I forgot to post back, but I used the sight for the first few weeks of season on the Hickory Creek and no complaints with it specifically. I actually liked it better than my FF3 due to having more dot intensity settings and easier battery changes. I may pull my AT-3 sight off my Midland and use it on it since it is smaller and lighter. Great sight, especially for what I paid.
I took it off and put a new scope on the mini because the vertical limb was taking up 1/3 of the sight picture with the red dot and it cost me a shot in very low light on a nice buck. The scope's focal point with magnification is beyond the limb, so it is not in the sight picture and I gained 10-15 more minutes of shooting light. Again, this is a situation specific to the Hickory Creek mini and not the sight.
