How do y'all carry your wingbone in the field? I thought about making a lanyard for it, to double in displaying it with the turkey it came from, but though having a white thing dangling from my chest wouldn't be smart. Should I keep it in my pocket when hunting?

guesswho

I use a lanyard and just tuck the call in my shirt.

I tote mine on a lanyard , and usually leave my 2nd button on my shirt un buttoned and tuck wingbone inside .
I even cut a 2 inch slither on my hoodie about chest level to tuck in inside .  I'm not worried about the white of the bone being exposed,  I just don't like it dangling and getting caught on things .

Lanyard with a tube call inside straps on vest. If it's one that I am not currently using I put it in a clear tube and put it inside pocket of vest.

Have a good one, Bocephus

I keep mine in the pocket with my strikers and friction calls.

Pocket if moving or backpack when heading for a long sit.

I made my own lanyard and didn't like all the movement.

Totally different than sitting in the cattails with a string of duck calls!

Same as strikers except on lanyard tied to call pouch
