Thoughts or ideas on this display

I'm making a little display for the wife with the spurs, beard, a few feathers and the shell for the longbeard she killed this spring. Looking for your thoughts on what I have done. This is a just a test run...I did not use the shell she used and I still need to finish the spurs. The leather string will be knotted and then it will hang from a nail with the knot hidden behind the feathers. Should I have the string longer so it shows above the feathers or hide it completely. Any other thoughts....something that needs to be changed, added, removed, do something different???
All ideas welcome.
