Looking to go to Texas next year with the wife to get our Rios, where would you recommend , would like to know where you have personal experience because we have never hunted anywhere besides Tennessee and Kentucky.

This was discussed in an older post that I can't locate.  Hope someone will bump it up.

Sorry about that, been hunting a lot and got the wife tagged out last week and have been on vacation this week.

Good Luck on anybody giving out their place they go! As tough as it is now with bird numbers decreasing, you will be lucky if anybody gives any names out.

Texas is becoming extremely difficult to find outfitters with large numbers of birds that allow plenty of opportunity. I know there are some still out there, but it was not great for me the past two years I went out there. I believe next year may be tough in many places because of the 2022 drought.

Maybe it was the "other forum" that I'm thinking of.  If these forums stop trading info they become pretty worthless.

It was Mr Joey - I was asking about the same thing. Good luck.

I still can't find the original thread.  It may have been removed for some reason.  This is quickly becoming a secret society.  I may have googled the ranch mentioned so I'll check my history and PM the original poster.  Several had highly recommended this outfitter.

RND1983

I recall many mentioning Wildlife Systems.

joey46

I think you are correct.  Write it down before it gets deleted. Lol.

RND1983

The thread is still up. It dates back to like April 4 or so. I stated some facts from an outfitter that I used this year past year.

joey46

Thanks. I found it.  I thought I had replied but hadn't.  Oh well :funnyturkey:

topnotch

Look around Crockett county for an outfitter, not much public land.

BTW - I just used the search functions on this and another forum.  There is plenty of Texas outfitter info on both.  I should have started there. ::)
