Have any of you tried to add cushioning or up date seat. Like the vest but seat don`t cut it.

I haven't field tested mine yet, but I will add a Cabelas Speed Seat to it if need be. I have one.....easily changeable.....

food for thought. Thanks

I've added additional cushion to previous vests I've had. Used some camo tape with those kneeling foam gardening pads and works great as a supplement to a stock seat.

Yea, the straps should all work. The Speed seat works real well. I'm gonna give the Sitka seat a shot. Will report back...

A $249 vest shouldn't need to have the seat cushion replaced or modified.  Oh well...

Cannot argue with you about that, your right. But it is a nice vest. No vest is 100 %

I saw a review on this vest that mentioned that the seat is made from extremely dense material that like other thicker seats out there will not flatten out like the less dense ones. I've seen even the Speed Seat flatten after a long sit. A field test long sit will let me know how comfortable it is.......

I used it all last season and I personally really liked the seat. I found it quite comfortable. Got some great naps in sitting on it! LOL

I don't have a Sitka but my vest seat wasn't comfortable as well. Just glued on one of those dense foam 2" thick camo seat pads you can buy...problem solved.
