Hey folks I recently had my Russell's resoled and the cobbler referred to the pattern as mossy oak hill country. Don't know about y'all but they look bottomland to me. Opinions?

Bottomland
Thanks I knew I wasn't crazy. What's hill country? Couldn't find it on mossy oak's website.

Hillcountry was a grey version of bottomland I believe.

Original bottomland ,, I had the same boots . I hunted them for many years . Awesome boots !
But they ain't even close to being water proof .

"It was some 10 years later when Toxey perfected his camouflage attempts. It was in the form of two patterns, with different coloring - a brown/taupe pattern, Bottomland and a gray version, Hill Country. Bottomland was the "fan" favorite, so it became Mossy Oak's founding pattern."

Those boots look worthy of the resoling. They don't make em like they use to.
Experience is something you don't get until just after you need it.
