Guys, this is NOT a new disease.  It is a known tick born illness.

ABC said it was a new disease and we all know that the media never gets anything wrong.... lol

I wonder if this was the same illness that Trevor Bayne had recently that took him out of his NASCAR ride for a few weeks and sent him to Mayo Clinic.

BOFF

Didn't know about it.

I've pulled about 5 ticks off in the last month. One was in between my toes.  :o It was tiny!! How in the world it got through the boots and sock is beyond me.

God Bless,
David B.

Never heard of that one, but I see it has reached Minnesota, so I'm sure it will be in Iowa shortly.

Had it the summer before last.

Went into St Vincent's hospital in Manhattan the day after Labor Day.

Was in for 7 days. Almost went out of the picture.

It began attacking my organs. Could not breath.

Was out of work for 45 days and on IV at home.

Took me over a year to feel like myself.

All the more reason to invest in Permanone/Permethrin tick repellent.
Treat all your outdoor clothes with it, not just your turkey huntin' stuff.
