In light of callmakerman's original thread......and a talk with him........a quick, little design storm.......   We have a pretty workable two-call trough call holster designed.........and one actually off the bench and in the woods.

Designed to be fairly universal in fitment.........this holster will carry 2 trough calls of typical size as well as 2 strikers. Only one call to carry ??  Stuff your shells, diaphragm cases, a folded wad of TP or a hundred other small items in the empty compartment and go.

THANK YOU to callmakerman for all his help in helping pull this one together !!!!   As WELL as photo credits for the holster in use.

The cats out of the bag. When I first contacted Don about making this holster, I wasn't sure he would have interest in doing it. I was wrong. He welcomed the challenge and our PM's began. When I received the holster, I knew right away that it was a winner and couldn't wait to get it in the woods.  The NY fall season isn't very long and with two days of hunting and a bird in the bag I can honestly say this is a set up that will aways be with me on my hunts. I love hunting trough calls and this holster makes it so convenient to do so. Thanx again Don for such a fine holster.

Thank YOU, Bill, for bringing this one to my attention.  I've had requests for this or that.......but never a trough holster.   Your help was superb !!  Very glad you are pleased with your new leather !!!   May it carry your most treasured calls to the end of many sharp-spurred birds.

Sweet!

That's a great design you guys came up with. I have one of Dick Kirby's personal trough calls, and this is the ONLY way I would ever entertain carrying it into the big woods!

A quality paddle caller will most run itself.  It just needs someone to carry it around the woods. Yoder409
