Long battle in VA but got it done

Probably one of the toughest seasons here in VA, with non gobbling birds and birds that are still henned up even in the last week.
Was able to punch my final 2 tags this past week on a couple birds that have been giving me the slip since opening day.
Off to Massachusetts this Thursday to see if we can actually find some birds that want to act right. First trip there so should be interesting.

Congrats on a strong finish

One of my personal current interests is nest predators and how a majority of hunters, where legal bait to the extent of chumming coons. However once they get the predators concentrated they don't control them.

Great looking bird! Congratulations
Soon you'll be taking the little guy with you hunting.
He looks like a future turkey hunter.
Good luck in Massachusetts. Keep us posted.

Nice job! Sure enough the gobbling is scarce. The wind the last 2 weeks of the season didn't help either.
