Any experience with these chokes - specifically .555 on a RETAY 20 ga turkey Gun

Chief Razor

I cant speak specifically about the choke for that gun. I use a 585 trulock in mine and it throws a fantastic pattern. Low 300 count in the 10" at 40 yards with 1 5/8oz #9's. Very uniform. Trulock customer service is fantastic and if you find that you dont like the pattern or the choke they will exchange it. I had an issue with the first choke I ordered from them, sent an email, the owner called me 30 min later and resolved the problem. Good folks.

Pretty sure the pinhoti choke is only the .585 constriction. I got a new 20 gauge SXP this year, the bone collector .575 throws a real nice pattern out of it

Call Trulock, George is good about explaining his chokes.

One of my personal current interests is nest predators and how a majority of hunters, where legal bait to the extent of chumming coons.  However once they get the predators concentrated they don't control them.

I don't have the .555, but I will be testing three new 20-gauge Trulock extended chokes next weekend: .560 .565 .575
  Shooting a Remington 11-87 w/ 26" barrel using Apex 3" TSS #9.

Will post results on the 20-gauge page for this forum, but will shoot you a note as well.
