Has anyone found a good replacement magnet for a turkey seat. I am working on customizing my vest and need some magnets for the seat. I don't want to take the ones in the existing seat out just in case I want to go back to the original.

I did what everyone does and started my search on Amazon. A lot of reviews for various magnets talked about them shattering. Hoping someone on here has found a the perfect one

Thanks in advance.

Earth magnets..if they are on the thin side they do tend to crack.

Search google for earth magnets..I got some from a place in Texas my only complaint was the shipping was crazy for what I got.But that sight had ever thing broke down and was easy to use sizes, ratings, thickness, pull weight etc

I did the same with earth magnets that I purchased on eBay.  I used pvc fabric, cut larger than the magnets and HH-66 glue on the vinyl bottom. I have a Tenzing vest now. I cut out the old magnets. Actually only one magnet and one metal slug. Which is part of the reason mine was so weak. I put three contact spots(6magnets). It is perfect now. Quiet and never comes off, even when I fall down. But is easily pulled off when needed. I like that vest otherwise and am amazed at the cheap magnets they have on nice vests. I also have an Alps that I've done the same thing to and like it.
The magnets I used were a bit larger than a quarter and about as thick.
I'd do it again on a new vest if neede.
