The last two years i went on an ammo choke testing mission.  However,  I did not test any APEX ammo.  For those of you who have,  how did it compare to others?  Did you see any consistencies with it either positive or negative?

Only things I've shot are Apex and Federal. Apex patterned better in both 12ga and 20ga for me. I know that's not real helpful, but that's the only two I've shot. Patterns were very even and consistent out of both guns.

I bought Apex 28 gauge from Rogers last season.
The patterns that I get at 40 yards with 1 3/8 oz of 9 1/2 shot are FAR better than my best 12 ga lead patterns at 30 yards.
For me, Apex seemed to be very nice quality. Patterns superb.

In my experience Apex patterns better than federal. However if it is kept under 40 yards into aint gonna matter. Have killed and seen some killed with both and they all seemed the same level of dead to me. I am more of a fan of the 8.5 shot and larger myself. Just seems to anchor them with a little more force and still more than enough pellets.

Have hunted with Apex for 3 years. Very satisfied with the results.

Figured this is an appropriate thread to post this info under, use the code "APEXSHOOTER15" to get 15% off on Apex website. Just bought 6 boxes the other day and it saved me almost 70 bucks I think

I seem to get a more even pellet distribution in my patterns with Apex ammo versus others that I have used in the past.

I love Apex. Such an impressive pattern with good pellet distribution. I would definitely give it a try if your thinking about it.

Agreed. This has been my experience as well.

I haven't noticed much of a difference, I think I've used more Federal the past 2 years. My buddy on here JohnSouth22 has been doing his own loads for the past 2 years and has done a lot of testing with different size TSS. His loads seem to be better than both of them to be honest

Hoping to get paperwork cleared and able to sell to public by 2023 season :icon_thumright:
