Started on same property I was able to call one into my nephew during youth weekend. This bird and his hen came into us during that hunt but we couldn't get a shot then.
Onto this morning, started in the area that bird went towards after leaving us. With no roost gobbles I set up and began a couple calling sequences. After a few minutes of silence I caught a hen coming from my left to right. I soon caught the gobbler also slipping by and closer. After going behind a couple bigger trees I was able to get on him and make the shot.
