I have a Remington 1187 20 gauge at the moment and I had a friend who just offered to sell his affinity compact to me. Is it worth it? Ive heard a lot of good things about the Affinitys and hunt on public so the lighter the better. Thanks!

It is a good gun.   We see alot of them.
Tell us just how dead do you want them to be and we will see if we can get that for you.

I've been looking for one in Bottomland pattern here locally on SC for the last week or so and am quickly finding out they are hard to come by.  Looks like a 60-90 day wait for a new one, so you might want to jump on it.

i have a regular affinity with a 26 in barrel, i love the gun, it just fits me and i really like the way it handles and carries. i almost bought a youth 11-87 before i bought it but for me i like the franchi better.

PM me if you decide to sell your 1187 20ga.

I picked up an Affinity 20ga a couple years ago and it's been an awesome gun.  I've used it for skeet, dove, quail, and turkey and it eats everything without a hitch.  Feels really natural to shoulder.  My Dad tried mine and immediately bought one as well and he's been a Remington 1100/870 guy for a long time.

I've had the Affinity compact for years (I did replace the stock for a std size).  It's killed everything I've pointed it at & damn near everything you can take in NE IA.  It has become my favorite rig...buy it, you won't regret it!
