Flying with gun question.

I've flown a lot and declared/checked my gun through TSA. My question is... if me and two friends are going on a hunt and my case will hold three shotguns, can we put all three in one case? I heard someone say that you can't check anyone else's gun in one case. I know you can take up to 4 shotguns if they belong to you, in one case.  Just didn't know if I could check my gun in a case with theirs in the same case.

I am not aware of a prohibition against this. I have often flown with my wife's or kid's guns in the same case. I've never been asked are all these weapons yours?

I'm not aware of this either.  A buddy and I shared a case when we flew but it has been a few years.  Since you have that question, check with your Airline and see what they have to say.  They will have the finally word.

neal

Say they're both yours and jump on the plane.
