I feel like I let the team down this year, Just before we were to take off for a SD turkey hunt my father in law past away, so that trip done. Two weeks latter we left for our MN hunt, 4 of us hunted for 4 days and never took a shot. I was the closest to a gobbler at 6 maybe 7 feet, I could see the top half of him out of the corner of my eye but could not swing the gun because of small trees and brush. He putted one time and jumped over the edge of the bank and sail away. I seen the same bird the day before at 120 yards, but would not come any closer than that.
Well thank you all for having me on the team, it was a blast reading and chatting with you all, I'm so glad that I didn't mess things up for the team score. It's been fun thanks again , Marty (Mag10)
