Great deer Mike!

I went with the bushmaster only because it was available when I needed one for Ohio. Love the thing and still choose it over a standard rifle cartridge in certain situations in the north east where both are legal. 35 legend is a good load and these straight walls are soo much nicer than slug guns.

A lot of 450's around here as they were the first straight wall to hit the woods. The 350 Legend is a very capable cartridge in the 150 grain Winchester load, the only one I've used in the field. The above buck was shot quartering towards me thru the front of the right shoulder (circle in picture), breaking it and leaving a thumb size hole in the heart before exiting through the left rib cage. First deer I've ever knocked off its feet.
