mr.bennett you have an awesome collection,thanks for showing these,i love seeing them and you have some very special ones.do the older flat top ones still have the sound the newer ones with the rounded cap have.

Thanks!  I am a big fan of Mr. Billy's work. I like his boxes almost as good as his trumpets. Nitro can give you a lot more input on this than I can. I am still relatively new to hunting with trumpets. I am by no means an expert caller. The older ones sound great to me but I think most would agree that Mr. Billy's work is better than ever. As Mr. Garrett said, Mr. Buice has been doing this for almost fifty years!  The beauty of the interchangeable mouthpieces sets him apart also.  Not to mention the different materials and shapes. The square cut mouthpieces are my new favorite.

No difference in sound quality in the pre- '95 flat top calls. Just a design change.
