First make just the high end note (a bit more tongue pressure is needed on the call), and then decrease the pressure while dropping your jaw for the raspy low-end note...

First things first though, and I found I had to be able to make just the front end by itself, before I could put the two together; no doubt but that the front end is the tricky part...  And I still ain't gonna win any calling contests.
Did I do that?

Agree with Marc said, forget about yelping and practice until you can make a clean high just by itself.  Once you get that the rollover will be easy
