I got tired of having lanyards that didn't fit right and a lot of the ones at sporing goods stores all look alike and I think you have to be 6'6" and 300lbs for them not to dunk your calls in the water when you are in the decoys.  So I decided to make my own out of 55 paracord and do it how I wanted it.  I think it turned out pretty well for my first one.  I will add a couple of more drops as season gets closer.

Nice work. Addictive isnt it.

That four strand braid is an absolute pain in the butt!  But it is something different from anyone else I hunt with.  I wish I could find a scale that was a close estimate to how much paracord is needed for certain braids over specific lengths.  Any suggestions?

I just winged it and then kept a journal as I figured it out.

in other words i know 120 inches of one type leather in a certain braid yelds me exactly 12 inches of finished knot.....so with the material I use it is 10 inches of material for 1 inch of knot.
