Can't argue against slate, but I picked aluminum. Loud enough to locate birds and sweet enough to bring them in. :you_rock:

I went with the aluminum.  I really like the anodized alum. from lights out.  They just have a certain tone that my slates just don't have.
Turkeys are as smart as hunters make em and public land offers more classes.

After years of liking slate and crystal I have become partial to a good aluminum and copper call!!

I have an aluminum call that cant NOT make a turkey sound.
