I've had both, prefer the red.

It's true the green is better for astigmatism in dot scopes. Idk though boys, I'm kinda liking prism scopes. It seems either color works easily and it works without the battery as a black reticle. I don't think I'll  purchase a dot sight anytime soon again,

I have red on the vortex venom and like it. I wish vortex made the venom with the green dot then I think I would switch to green

Using a sight on a shotgun is bs.On my pse I have a green.

Green is harder on battery life, so keep a spare battery in your vest. I don't have trouble seeing either, but a guy I shoot with is color blind and cannot see red if it is a brown background. if you have good eyes and see red fine there are a lot more options than green.

richard black

I use red. Choose the color best for you.

ShootingABN!

I ended up going with the holosun 507k x2 in green. Appreciate all of the opinions!

Keep us posted on how you like it! Good luck.

One of my personal current interests is nest predators and how a majority of hunters, where legal bait to the extent of chumming coons.  However once they get the predators concentrated they don't control them.
