Remington pro bore question
March 25, 2021, 10:50:04 AM
I have a remington versamax with the pro bore barrel. I've noticed the chokes for this gun seem to run a little more open. Is there a specific reason for this? I've got a jebs .655 that shoots fed Tss 9s decent but I feel it could be better. Just wondering if anyone has any specifics on the pro bore.

The barrel is a overbore like a 835 the the barrel diameter is larger than a standard 12 gauge.

The barrel on a versamax is overbored to a .735 or something slope to that. The forcing cone is also lengthened.....a 835 mossberg I belive is bored out to something very close to a 10 ga bore of .770 or whereabouts
