The bottom picture shows the Leafy jacket with the pouch divider and calls in it. Not bulky, fits real nicely. Zipper operates very easily. Thanks for looking..

We all have strived to carry our calls, seat, bino's etc. in the most efficient, comfortable way. I know most turkey hunters tried many vests, satchels, chest and Fanny packs over the years, I'm one of you all. I felt I would share my latest non-vest creation that so far is a winner for me. I do sit quite a bit, so a good cushion is essential. I love my stadium cushion by thermo-seat. It has adjustable straps that adjusts, allowing you to sit without a tree behind you. The back and seat cushion does not flatten out. Very comfortable and light to carry. I use a Nomad and North Mountain 1/4 zip Leafy Wear. Both has a zippered kangaroo pouch under the quarter zipper. This can carry most of your essentials with ease. I just wanted a little organization/separation, so I took a cheap shoulder pack and cut off the top flap. It fits very nicely in the kangaroo pouch. The pictures show what I usually carry, the only substitution might be a box call for one of my pushpins. I'll only do this on windy days, the box is affective in the wind. Calls are mouth diaphragm, Cody Slate and Striker, 2 Push-pins, headnet gloves, wing-flapper. This allows me to carry my stadium cushion, and gun, very easy, a lightweight carry. I know it's not the answer for all, but for me it's my go to vest-less option for sure. Hope it gives you all some ideas. Be safe...

For most of my turkey hunting life I carried my box in a holster because I didn't own a vest. When I finally did get a vest(s), none of them had a box pouch that wasn't awkward. My current vest has the best box pouch yet and I carry my box in that vest when I wear it. I am very particular about my belt holster, have tried many and my favorite holster that I have used for years is an Eight Hooter Niles Oesterle leather holster.

It's like being a "Turkey Hunting Detective or Doctor". You get some info and you need to solve the puzzle or diagnose the disease, lol. It keeps it fresh and I love it. If I can get one tiny scrap of info, then the whole season is worth it. I have been lucky and 3 great opportunities and been blessed enough to capitalize. I am in awe of the guys that score on 5+ birds every year. I don't think my body could do it. I am really excited about the wife hunting on her own this year. But I also don't want to be obsolete either, lol. I like my hunting partner. It's tough being" hands off" as my guys at work have reminded me. It's easier to let them go on their own, I don't wake up with them.  :funnyturkey: Z
