Nice looking trumpet that somebody will be happy with

I have one of his and Del Crow's early macdaddy trumpets that draws air easy and sounds great

Can I ask why you had the Mahoe stabilized? Was it needed or just preferred? Thanks

Ok, thanks. I didn't know if there was something about Blue Mahoe that required it to be stabilized in order to use for a trumpet.

From my gatherings in talking with several trumpet makers it does indeed need to be stabilized for a trumpet. I don't quite know why myself, but have one that was, and it came out very nice.
