I like Halloran hickory, Perfection 2 piece dymondwood, McClain tulipwood and a Baublit bloodwood acrylic tip on mine.

Halloran bloodwood when it's dry and Yingling carbon fiber rod for the wet weather

Al's wet weather striker sounds good on it but I also run a black locust and fiber rod from Mike Yingling.

Lyman hickory, JLH or Lyman purpleheart, Schaffer 2pc dymondwood. Yingling fiber rod in the wet weather.

For wet weather the HS Strut carbon striker sounds really good.  Actually it sounds really good whether wet or dry.   The one with the full length carbon rod sounds better than the one with just the 1" tip of carbon.
