Post by: slicksbeagles1 on March 20, 2020, 08:58:19 AM
Does anyone polish the barrel of their M2's ? And if so will it help in anyway?

I don't think that I would recommend polishing a Benelli crio or any other chrome lined barrel.

yes i believe they are chrome lined also. Probably would do more harm than good.

I use a wet mop on a cordless drill with chrome polish on it for my chrome lined barrels. Let it dry out and run a dry mop on the cordless to remove polish.   Did not test to see if it improved patterns but it makes it much easier to keep clean!

during turkey season I just run a bore snake through after I kill a bird, shines like a mirror!

NO!.......It's chrome lined like all Benelli shotgun barrels. Maybe a chrome polish that it's about all you should use, you don't want to damage that chrome lined finish, I've shot Benelli's nearly 20 years now.

Agreed. If its a crio barrel you will ruin it.
