The butternut/Macassar took me a little more time to warm up to, it is a little more raspy than I usually like, but the more I play it on both sides, the more it sounds so realistic that I will definitely be hunting it.
Also it has a knot on the left side that gives it some character that you don't see in many of his boxes.
It's your call to do with as you please, just curious what changed in a week from "definitely be hunting it" to something you won't like to hunt with? Not wanting to be snarky, just honestly curious?
With season so close why not hunt it at least once before making final decisions? Just my thoughts.
