Title: Savage 301 Turkey 20ga

Just bought a 301 turkey in 20ga. Anyone try different choke tubes besides stock? If so what has worked best for you? Choke/ammo combo. Any help will be appreciated. Thanks

I have a carlsons longbeard choke for mine that works well,  but the factory turkey choke put up a really respectable hunting pattern with federal tss 9

Just bought one today, anyone found a choke that shoots the Fed.HW#7's decent?    Also what choke does this gun take ? Cant find anyone caring a Stevens 301 choke !

I have one. It take win. Chokes ,mine shoots the big 20 xl with the factory choke real,good,well over 300 in the 10. Its going to be a,killer.

I can't speak for the 20 gauge, but out of my 12 gauges, I shoot Hvy Weight #7's and get great results out of my Rob Roberts non-ported 660 choke. Also handles  the Hvy Weight #6's real well. Good luck.......
