Title: Jet style slate
Post by: wchadw on January 22, 2020, 07:03:37 PM
Looking for suggestions on call makers that make "jet" style pocket slates. I love my old lynch jet but the slate is so thin it just doesn't sound good anymore and the new ones just aren't the same

Thanks

Marlin watkins makes a little pocket slate he calls the "coaxer" call and Chad Remenaric makes a mini trough call with a lanyard that would serve a similar purpose....

I have a Lonnie Mabry tongue caller, little bigger than the jet slate but it sounds great, I also have a Jerry Dad White Do-dat that is a great little caller. (https://i.imgur.com/Ha2ygg5.jpg)

Marlins little coaxer call is a great call for purrs and tree yelps
