I'm looking to buy some one siders from these gentleman. Let me know what you have and your thoughts .
thanks,Phil
If it's a one sider jump into it experience your seeking,,,last month I bought a Tony Quarino one sider from him on the advice of somebody knowledgeable,,Bloodwood over mahogany.
I've never had a call that so easily produces a "nice yelp" and I cant believe how easy it purrrrrrr s
I have quite a few $200 plus box calls and they sound great but usually you have to hold the paddle this angle,,exert this much pressure, gain familiarity etc.
The Quarino one sider makes you feel like a idiot just along for the ride in a race car it drives itself it's so easy to play.
"Dont quote me on this" but I think I paid $75-$90 for it,,worth it if it would have been $290
Tony makes a killer one sider. He doesn't get the credit he deserves. If you get lucky, and he has any Gabon Ebony over Holly available, get it. You will not be disappointed

Gabon Ebony over holly is my favorite combo. I guess I need to give Tony a call. I just picked up a longbox in that combo from Ernie Fetters. It's the easiest longbox to play that I own, and it's all turkey! My Albert Paul Henry Davis in that combo is one of my favorites, and it's responsible for many turkey deaths.

He might not have any ebony. I am not sure. He had not been buying any, because of cost. The same with the pure white holly. Give him a call. He might have some, or might get some to build some with.
I appreciate the thoughts on Tony's call and it is a good one . My daughter currently has one from him and likes it. I was looking into some others for her before next season.

I second this! I bought a one-sider and a short box in this combo from Jeff for my mom and dad, respectively, last year. They are both killers!
