Title: rebuild barrel length
Post by: Old Timer on June 27, 2019, 10:29:13 AM
I have a Remington 12ga sps deer gun i don`t use anymore so i said what the heck make it into a blind gun for turkey. I have an old 835 that serves me well it sports a short barrel. Question: for those of you who blind hunt do you find a 24 or 26 inch barrel works best. I`m leaning toward the 26 because i feel you can sit back a little further and still get the barrel out the blind, i hunt with optics. Your thoughts?

In my mind it doesn't matter, in the confines of a blind I'd think the shorter barrel would be easy to maneuver.  Two inches won't make or break ya either way.
