The mailman brought me a package from Jeff Harrison today. Left to right, chakte viga, bolivian rosewood, Nicaraguan rosewood. As usual they are fantastic. How about getting something easy to spell and pronounce?? Everyone asks me which one is which and I just have to say light brown or dark brown. I really think lately your just trying to make it hard on dummies like me.

Everyone is different in what they want to hear....and depending on the call maker and the tone thier call makes.
My opinions change frequently....But to me, I'm not a fan of crystal, so for glass or bronzed glass i am really liking Honduras Rosewood, patagonian rosewood

again, this is my pea brained opinion....
It all boils down to density and hardness.....and some woods have more of a 'tone' to them.
And those tone characteristics dictate the amount of rasp they produce..
Some woods play kind of flat, and some are lively...
And i have lots, and lots of options!!
