What call did everyone get the most responses from this year.
I only got to hunt one day on an out of state hunt this year, broke my shoulder day before opening day where I normally hunt so I cant contribute much about calls this year.
My buster persimmon red slate over glass. Lot of good responses with my fiddleboxes also.

What combo are you running on the fiddlebox?
This year it was Roberts cedar green Cody world class
Marlin hophorn over walnut

Paul Platz canarywood anodized aluminum and Watkins purpleheart over cedar misfit.
These 3 calls were involved in nearly every turkey worked in 4 states, my bloodwood/limba box, Halford red slate and a Woodhaven ghost cut diaphram.
Mike Yingling slate and hooks diaphragm call
Jessie Jefferson of C4 - Crooked Creek Custom Creations Copper Call started my first turkey with it and my Apple wood and Mullberry wood made by Eric Crouse of Grizz Friction Wood Calls to finish it off.
I mainly hunted trumpets and Shag Hill and Jeff Erb got many responses for me. Box calls were henboxes from Richard Hudson and Matt Fulkerson and the birds gobbled well to them also.

Light's Out slate over glass leopardwood...
Gooserbat Heckler diaphragm
KITS Black Widow box
Hudson hen box (Macassar Ebony/English Walnut)
My Lonzo laminate green slate had the most responses in total by far this season. That's mostly because it went on the most outings without killing. I would rotate to another call after a kill, and had several very successful hunts that had great responses from certain other calls though. Multiple Watkins fiddle boxes, a Daybreak aluminum, Brad Roberts green slate, Lonzo ceramic, and Paul Durham glass were all calls that had fantastic responses, even though some were only used for a couple hours at most.
Fulcher slate trough, Tony Ezolt wingbone, Ernie Fetters longbox.

2013 Buice Macassar Ebony trumpet. Every turkey I killed and called in for others in 2019 heard that call.
It's a dandy yelper for sure. Unusual for me to limit myself to just one main call. I decided in February that I was going to not whore around..
Lonzo laminate green slate over glass, Sinclair green slate over slate in a Osage pot, a ipe over pecan fiddle box and gooserbat dtw
Striking birds.....which was not easy this year.....Woodhaven Cherry Classic Crystal, first year of production and I have a ton of confidence in it.
Finishing birds were Halloran's TKO and a Beautiful henbox from Matt Fulkerson.
Eddie Wynn's Persimmon slate. Followed closely by a Platz double glass
Allen Dunfee witches fiddle. Second place goes to the perfection screamin demon 2.
There were 7 birds that didn't make it after they heard a Sweetbriar glass/slate. Second after that was a woodhaven ninja hammer
Ceramic pot , T J Johnson macassar / holly fiddle box , Matt Fulkerson hen box snakewood apple and Jeff Mckamey Mora/butternut and Diamond wood/Mahogany ..... The diamond wood lid box and base Jeff has only made 4 of these boxes ... it's very rare box ....

Don't wanna act like it was more than it was but I bought this Lonzo green slate from the classifieds. Didn't even put it in my vest, it sat on my coffee table. 3 times, not days w it resulted in a bird hung up at 50 yards. (Never shot).
A double beard and a double w my buddy. All longbeards and the call was grabbed on the way out the door as an after thought. Lucky start this call
Pedelahore Bois de Rose Trumpet
Had great success with my Anthony Ellis Trumpet and a T.Wyatt ceramic/ paduak pot, but the greatest responses were from a Billy Martin (perrytrails) prof. mouth call that the turkeys could not resist.
Over the past few years it has been:
Lohman Thunderdome
Preston Pittman Coppertop
Supreme Turkey Call "Pure Death" Glass/Cocobolo
Houndstooth mouth calls
Have a good one

That's a EZ wingbone fellows. Let me tell ya it was deadly on the public land birds in my area.
Took one my my best birds using that call. May not be the longest spurs but look at the size of that left one. And it curls down. Almost a 12 inch beard.
Really like his wingbone calls.

Paul Hicks red slate started the year out 3 for 3. 3 hunts 3 birds. Other bird this year was called in with a Paul Durham osage glass call that is an absolute killer and was also my favorite for locating birds. (https://uploads.tapatalk-cdn.com/20191230/7b124baef8f836450f006912ff24237d.jpg)

I bought a grizz friction wood call on a whim last year. I thought it sounded pretty good, but I was a little unsure of it. The first bird that I called to with it I killed. After that I gained more confidence in it and the turkeys absolutely loved that call. Even at the end of the season when those birds have had everything thrown at them.
Tom teasers red neck hen.
Crazy if you think about it. There's way more turkey hunters than those on here but there's some awesome calls going into lot of woods everywhere. Most of those guys woulda never heard of em. Great collection of calls n call types boys!
Have to add Mike Lapp push pin. Always with me. Very soft simple clucks, pressured birds. Works well. Good luck to all my forum friends. Be safe.....

The remote control to my tv since the birds have been silent this year....
Killed one on the 2nd of April. Worked him the day of and the day before with a John Dangerfield mud-cured osage trumpet. Seemed to be the only thing he would respond too.
