Just wondering if anyone has ever came across this yellow coloration on this Gobbler's neck or if anyone knows what it might be caused by?(https://uploads.tapatalk-cdn.com/20190429/6e59497681be11170afcae7ce890d9e7.jpg)

Shot a Fall hen with scabs like that. One of 100s of things wild turkeys get.

I don't think there is anything wrong with that bird,...just a genetic anomaly. Pretty cool coloration, though.

I showed the picture to our states wildlife disease scientist and he said he thinks that it could be a stain from something that the turkey got into.

Could be I guess. It wouldn't wipe off and his feet were more of a orange color. I was leaning towards something genetic.

Killed one like that in Kansas his legs were yellow as well and I agree just a genetic glitch.
