Got a Sappy Cocobolo copper pot from Mike Yingling last week, got a chance to test it on some late season Osceola's this weekend. Saturday morning called in a Jake and Gobbler to 35 yards and my Son in Law shot right over his head. This caused some slight profanity from the ground blind. This morning went solo and right at daylight had a bird gobble back to the call. The bird flew down and went silent nothing for 45 minutes. I called again and heard a gobble then another very fast gobble. For 30 minutes what turned out to be two gobblers were working their way to me. At 40 yards they came into a clearing and fast tracked towards the decoys I purred at them they both stopped and went into full strut. At 25 yards the shotgun did its work and a nice bird filled my tag for the year. I haven't used pot calls very much but I'm sold on these Yingling copper pots for Florida. They sound great and run in the humid wet climate we hunt in. THANKS MIKE!!!
Sorry I don't know why the pic turned sideways
