Title: Tough start for WV season
Post by: earlybird on April 29, 2011, 05:36:04 PM
This has to be one of the worst opening weeks i've had in a long time here in wv.There has been a strong wind blowing almost all week and then throw in heavy rain on and off mostly in the mornings.I've only worked one bird and when he got close enough i saw that his beard was completely missing so he got a free pass.Hope the weather straightens out soon but theres still 3 weeks to go so i'm not too worried yet.

Keep after em. The weather has to improve. It really can't get much worse.  :anim_25:

Tough for us in Morgan County in Eastern Panhandle too. One of our guys, though, got a nice longbeard with his bow on Tuesday.

Stay at it and don't get discouraged. Things will get better. :anim_25:
