Title: SX4 canitlever turkey chokes
Post by: limbhanger777 on February 22, 2019, 04:23:22 PM
Just got an SX4 turkey cantilever 3.5" and was wonder where I should start with chokes.

I will mostly be shooting longbeard XR's probably 3.5" #5's

Anyone have good experiences with a choke and these loads?

Thanks!

I had several of those guns and the hevi 13 choke and the longbeards  were awesome!!!

Very curious about this myself. Thinking about picking up a new SX4 Cantilever before Turkey season.

Thanks! I bought a 3.5" SX4 and then bought a turkey cantilever barrel for it. I wanted a gun that could double as a small game (grouse, rabbit and squirrel) gun in the fall.

Haven't had a chance to pattern it with the provided extra full turkey choke, but typically aftermarkets produce better patterns so just looking for others advice.
