Choke it tighter? Go to straight 9's ( I want to anyway)? I only shot 7.5x9's because that's all that was available here today. I shoot straight 9's out of my 12 and have no complaints. I think the 10" numbers are good to go and look pretty clean, but outside the 10 leaves something to be desired for sure. I do appreciate that this is with just the factory full choke and a blend though.
Obviously the POA POI is off, and I happen to already have a Mossberg 500 rail and red dot to remedy that, just gotta get back out and dial that in. I'm more curious on your thoughts on the load and choke. Thanks
I think that's pretty good at that distance, especially with the #7s mixed in. I'd hunt that for sure. Not sure what's your gaining making the pattern core hotter.

Yeah you're right. I don't need the core any hotter, I was just thinking about pulling some of those fliers into the 20. What I need to do is just be glad the full choke shoots this well and call it a day. Lord knows I don't need to start buying chokes and go down that rabbit hole.
That dog will hunt, but if you want more hits then go to straight 9s. There is no sense in a TSS 7 unless that is all your laws allow and then I would use the Fed HW 7s or try the Kent 7s. Great pattern that will kill just fine!
decided to try a Carlson's .568 and the Fed 9's
